Flow head, also called flow head, is located at the top of the test string to contact, test and control the oil well output. It is used to support the test string, and to facilitate and control the flow of the fluid medium into or out of the well. The wing valve is usually equipped with a fail-close actuator which is link to the emergency shutdown system, this configuration allows for remote shut-in of the well on the surface.
