Product introduction：NW-29 casing hanger is a slip type, wrap around hanger with an automatic packoff sealing. It’s capable of supporting up to 80% of the casing yield strength and can minimize the casing deflection which is superior to NW-21 and NW-22 casing hanger. When the hanger is suspending the casing, the upper slip is squeezed downward due to the gravity of casing and the seal packoff is energized which will let lower slips holding tightly the casing. The lower slips do not move down, thus they do not create a high compressive force, as do conventional tapered slips.
